Privacy Policy

The short version

Your goals, plans and journal stay on your devices and in your own iCloud. We can’t read them. Y-Pod sends us two kinds of information, both tied to an anonymous ID and never to your name or email: usage signals (such as which screen you reached) and purchase status. We never receive the content of what you write.

What stays on your devices

Everything you create in Y-Pod is stored on your device and synced through Apple’s iCloud:

• Goals, plans and journal entries
• Budget, counters and tags
• Your settings and your progress

iCloud sync uses your private iCloud storage, which only you can access. We have no way to see it, and Apple’s own privacy policy governs how iCloud handles it.

G-Nee, the AI assistant

G-Nee runs on your device using Apple’s on-device model (Apple Intelligence). What you ask it, and what it reads from your plans to answer, is not sent to us or to any server of ours.

What Y-Pod asks to use

• Calendar, if you allow it. Y-Pod reads when you’re busy so your plan lands in real gaps. It changes an event only when you open it and edit it yourself. Calendar data stays on your device.
• Notifications, if you allow them. Reminders are scheduled on your device.
• Motion sensors, only to tilt the starry background as you move your phone. Nothing is recorded.

Usage signals

To learn where people get stuck, Y-Pod sends a small, fixed set of anonymous signals to TelemetryDeck, an analytics service. They cover:

• The paywall: when it appears, which plan you look at or choose, and whether a purchase, trial, restore or error follows.
• Setup: which step you reach, whether you finish, and your answers to the setup questions as categories (what gets in the way of your goals, what you plan with now, which kinds of goals you pick, how you found Y-Pod, whether you allowed notifications), plus counts such as how many items you kept.
• If you type a place under “Other” when we ask how you found Y-Pod, the first 40 characters of it.
• When Y-Pod asks you to rate it on the App Store.

These signals never include the text of your goals, plans or journal. They carry no name, email address or account, and are not used for advertising or to track you across other apps and websites.

Purchases

Payments are handled by Apple. We never see your card or Apple Account details. To unlock your plan and restore purchases, Y-Pod uses RevenueCat, which receives your purchase and subscription status. RevenueCat creates an anonymous ID for your installation, and the same ID is used for the usage signals above so a purchase and its signals match up.

What we don’t collect

• Your name or email address, unless you write to us
• Your location
• Your contacts or files
• Your advertising identifier

We show no ads, and we don’t sell or share your data.

This website

y-pod.app uses no cookies, no analytics and no sign-up forms. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, as most hosts do.

Your choices

• Deleting Y-Pod removes its data from your device. To remove the synced copy, go to Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage.
• You can turn off Calendar and Notifications at any time in your device’s Settings.

If you use Contact Developer in Y-Pod’s settings, the email includes your device model so we can help. You see the message before you send it.
